These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://freetoolz.app (the "Site") and the tools, content and services made available on it (together, the "Services"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Services
FreeToolz provides free, browser-based online tools including calculators, converters, generators, text utilities, image utilities and AI-assisted helpers. Most tools run entirely in your browser; a small number (clearly identified on the tool page) call server-side APIs to work.
FreeToolz is free to use. We reserve the right to change, add or remove tools at any time, to fix bugs, to improve accuracy, and to update the Site's design without notice.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use. You must not:
- upload, generate, or attempt to process content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights;
- use the Site to distribute malware, phishing content, or spam;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, related systems, or user data;
- use automated systems (bots, scrapers, headless browsers) to overload the Site or to circumvent rate limits;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except to the extent expressly permitted by law;
- resell or rebrand the Site or its tools as your own product.
4. Your content and outputs
Any input you submit and any output produced by the tools remain yours. FreeToolz does not claim ownership of your content. By using a tool, you confirm that you have the right to submit that content and to use the output.
Some tools (for example, AI-assisted generators) send your input to a third-party API to produce a result. Those interactions are subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy in addition to ours. This is disclosed on the relevant tool pages.
5. Accounts (optional)
Most FreeToolz tools do not require an account. Where an account is available, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
6. Advertising
The Site is supported by display advertising served by Google AdSense and, potentially, other advertising partners. See our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy for details on how advertising cookies are used and how you can manage your choices. The presence of an advertisement is not an endorsement.
7. Third-party services and links
The Site may link to or embed third-party content. We are not responsible for third-party sites, ads, or the accuracy of information they contain.
8. Intellectual property
The Site, its design, source code, logos, copy and branding are owned by FreeToolz and are protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title or interest in our intellectual property except a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Site as intended.
9. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, please review our DMCA Policy and follow the notice procedure.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Tool outputs are informational only and are not professional, legal, financial, tax, or medical advice. See our Disclaimer.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FreeToolz and its operators, contributors and licensors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Services.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify FreeToolz and its operators against claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Site at our discretion — for example, in response to abuse or a legal request. You may stop using the Site at any time.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute that is not required by law to be resolved elsewhere.
